Chair Yoga

Learn simple yoga poses, some of which can be done anywhere and anytime. Learn to relieve stress and tension and promote relaxation with guided meditation and breathing exercises. Certified instructor, Allison Wilmes, leads this class.

Together Again: Representing Barrington High School Class of 1977 are Piano Player Marti Bonne and Drummer John Briggs. Representing Barrington High School Class of 1978 is Bass Player Jim Seidel. Several decades later, after going separate ways, these former classmates have reunited and along with Steve Yankula on guitar and Robb Calabro on sax have formed the band, Together Again. The primarily jazz, rock and pop band will play Valentine themed songs for the evening. Refreshments.

Line Dancing

Richard Helland discusses and demonstrates "the saturated process" of painting, a technique of painting directly on fully saturated paper and establishing a full range of values without using the traditional glazing process.

Phil Passen---Hammered Dulcimer: Hammered dulcimer player Phil Passen plays and sings Celtic and folk music. Growing up in Michigan and Ohio, Passen never heard of the hammered dulcimer that he began playing after his 50th birthday. Today, he is one of just a few musicians who play this string and drum-like instrument and has recorded two albums. Refreshments.
