Athena Award & Lauren Brown Scholarship Opportunities

 Do you know of an exceptional woman who has made significant contributions to her business/organization, community, and to other women? The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce's Women's BizNet Committee will be honoring a Barrington area woman with the Athena Award in May. Nominations are due April 10, 2015 and are available at the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Lauren Brown Scholarship honors the memory of Lauren Brown, an employee of the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce. Local area high school seniors will be awarded scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 to help with costs in higher education. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2015. More information is available here.
